If you are going to compete in Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Thai Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, or Submission Wrestling tournaments with the idea of representing American School of Martial Arts (American Top Team of Savage), you must train 5-6 days a week, 3 hours a day and be approved by staff.

Mixed Martial Arts- 3 hours of gym classes per day, 6 days a week. Road work and weight training is done on your own time (which you must do). You will not book your own fights or deal with promoters. You will compete in amateur Thai Boxing, Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments before your first amateur MMA match. You won't be able to directly represent the gym until you have had a minimum of 10 full contact matches. You will make your entrance to an 'Independent Fighter' from Savage, MN. When you turn pro, you can make your entrance to 'American Top Team of Savage'.

You will obey societies laws at all times and represent the gym with honor and integrity. Any thug behavior or illegal acts will get you removed from the team and kicked out of the gym. Remember we aren't at war with anyone, we aren't a gang, we are sportsmen competing professionally, bringing class and respect to the sport.

Thai Boxing- 2 hours of technical classes per day, 5 days a week. Road work and weight lifting to be completed on your own. Staff will let you know when you are ready to compete and will book your fights for you. You will not deal with promoters and cannot use the name American Top Team without permission.

Boxing- Same as Thai Boxing.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling or Grappling Tournaments- 2 hours of technical classes per day, 5 days a week. Road work and weight lifting to be completed on your own. You cannot use the name American Top Team or wear a gi with an ATT patch on it unless you have permission from staff. Go to any tourney you want, but train hard so you can represent the team.

There is no greater sin in competitive sports than going in ill prepared. To quote the great Vince Lombardi, "Fatigue makes cowards of us all." Train hard, make the team, and represent with honor and integrity. Live with the maxim of honor or dishonor instead of win or lose and you will never go wrong.

Nicknames will not be used because they're stupid (unless the country of Japan gives you one.)

Win, lose or draw... train hard.
